
In the last post we looked at how to green up your java routeine – from coffee makers to filters to cleaning the pot. Now let’s take a quick look at the actual beans.
This isn’t a long topic by the way.
- Buy organic beans or ground coffee.
- Buy Fair Trade beans or coffee.
Easy right? But you could do more, such as…
- When buying beans, take your own reusable bags for bulk food items to the store or shop.
- Compost those coffee ground.
- For pete’s sake, use a reusable mug! I STILL see people with coffee in Styrofoam and paper cups. I’ve even seen this at people’s homes! Seriously now… IF you really must use paper, at least use fake paper:
